Youth Pollinator Habitat Project

On May 20th, 2019 3rd graders planted a pollinator plot to increase awareness of the importance of implementing habitat and the roll of pollinator. This project is made possible by The City of Sterling, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Northeastern Colorado Pheasants Forever Chapter, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Centennial Conservation District. What Is Pheasants Forever?

Pheasants Forever is a national, non-profit organization which works for the conservation and improvement of pheasant habitat across the United States. The Northeast Colorado Chapter covers Logan and N.E. Weld counties. We cooperate with the Colorado Division of Wildlife and other Pheasants Forever Chapters to identify, fund and construct habitat projects in Northeast Colorado.
